they never learn

first and foremost i sent my condolences towards the families that are involved in the landslide at Hulu Klang...al fatihah to those muslims who had lost their family member in that incident...

how many more do we want to sacrifice until stern action are taken to make sure hillside building or any contruction near a hillside are deemed safe to live?...a hundred, a thousand or a million?..we are living in an era which is technologically advanced people, there are equipment which can determine the level of the soil density and thus tell us if it is safe to erect a structure on that very ground..this technology is used on developing countries such as Japan, Dubai, Hong Kong and many more..so why can we use it??..are we so cost conscious that we are willing to sacrifice the lives of others just to cut a few thousand ringgit?...this is a grim example to the construction industy in Malaysia..their lack of having sense in safety has cause the lives of 4 people..one of them a student..who was probably thinking that he is going to class next week..and many others who are injured and traumatised for life..i hope the ban on hillside building is not a spur a moment speech...or if they don't want to ban it then they should create strict policy when building structures on or near hillside...i am personally tired of hearing the authorities saying that they will do this and that but a month or 2 later there is no sound to be heard from them...so please take strict...really strict action in which the culprit will suffer for it..this is to stop history from repeating itself..we alrady ignore it once..remember highland towers...are we willing to ignore it a second time?when that happens..how many more casualties are we willing to lose?...think about it..
