dah lama x blog...baru hari ni berkesempatan nk blog dan tak tau kenapa
tetiba nk blog pasal peribahasa ni...
walaupun skrg nk dekat pkl 2 pagi tapi x boleh tido....so bloglah jawapannya...
kita lihat org zaman sekarang sesuai digambarkan dgn peribahasa ini
sbb ramai diantara mereka telah lupa dgn asal-usul mereka dan pertolongan org lain.
yelah dulu kita xde apa2...pastu ada insan yang baik hati bantu kita dgn harapan nk memberikan kita pertolongan...bila kita dh berjaya,kita nafi org tu yg tolong kita....
bkn sahaja kita nafikan..kalau takat nafi tu boleh lagi...
tp ni kita kutuk dan cerca org tu sehinggakan dia nampak sebagai seorg yang tidak
penting dalam kehidupan kita padahal sekiranya org tu xde
dalam hidup kita, segala kesenangan kita yg ada skrg ni x mungkin kita dapat...
anyway..cuma nk bgtau sahaja pasal perkara ni sbb kita mmg telah lupa asal-usul kita...
sepatutnya org yg bantu menaikkan kita mestilah dihormati dan disanjung..
tpkan kita buat dia jadi mcm kucing jalanan...dihalaunya bila nampak...

finally...my new blackberry storm...

i finally made up my mind to trade my Sony Ericsson P1i handphone after it became a nuisance up on me when i was calling my friend. the phone screen suddenly froze with the dial tone still being heard. i was force to restart the phone which took about 5 minute.

After that it was the last straw. i made up my mind to change to a new one. that when the celcom ad came to my view and it was showing the new blackberry storm. i was captivated for a sec or two. then yesterday i went with a friend to Low Yat and asked around for the reasonable price.

in the end i got to trade for my more than 1 year old P1i for RM420 and the rest is history. here's some pic of my new blackberry...and owh yeah it was a bit tricky to operate it at first but at the end it was cool. here's some pic of my blackberry...










but....why on earth does it not have a wireless excess..waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

food for the mind

something interesting were conveyed to me by my parents today...we were having tea and they were talking about the education system and whether it is effective or not in educating the generation of youngsters today. Apparently, they both agree that it is not effective because when they relate to their time, it seems that the education system right now only focus at academic only while theirs centered at academic and building the skills to survive in this world....and my father told me that he played a lot of sports in his youth and so was my mother..hmmm..pieces of puzzle starting to fit together aint it??
then he told me and what he relayed make me think...he told me that when Christopher Columbus wanted to prove that the world is spherical...so he wanted to set sail to India..however..he did not land in India but arrived at what we now know as America and met the native there..the red indian..so when he sailed back to his homeland, he told his story. when the people did not believe his story, he gave them an egg and told them to make it stand. the non believers try as they might but to no avail. Then Christopher showed it to them. He crack the egg in half and make the egg stand on the cracked end....so when people saw that they said "i can do that too"...you guys know what is the meaning of this story??
it tells us that there are no rules, opinion or guidelines set to achieve something...dont let people tell us what to do, how to do it and why and when...we have to take risk to discover it on our own..HOWEVER KIDS, THAT APPLIES TO POSITIVE UNDERTAKING...LIKE EDUCATION AND WORK...NOT AS AN EXCUSE TO DO DRUGS,SMOKING OR PROSTITUTION...anyway do not let the people set our mind on how we should think but using the mind to think fo the betterment of the people and oneself...

the booking of the car has been made...why am i not happy??

what started as a joke has become reality..a year ago, i passed the Honda show room and nonchalantly joked saying that i want Civic after my graduation..Yesterday evening, i went to Honda showroom in Ampang with my parent to book my civic. After all the explaining of the amortization of the car, i went for a test drive. WOW!!..that's all i can say..civic is amazing... i mean i never drove a car like that since i obtain my driving license. When i put the foot to the pedal, the speed increment was smooth, no roaring engine noise. it was a really fun drive and i like it. then the dealer told me that in Japan, there are 2 types of engine used there.

1) the engine in Honda Accord which is made to suit the need of executives and high ranking officers
2) the engine in Honda Civic which is made for the racing competitions in Japan.(legal and illegal i supposed)

then..why am i feeling guilty buying it??...i mean i think of all my other cousins who are right now a bit tied off in their financial book...and i am quite ashamed of this...i bought a car that cost about RM 129k...while my cousins barely have enough money to pay for their varsity fees and the money comes from PTPTN and still it is not enough..so am i doing the right thing?..i told my parent that i am having second thought buying the Civic...then they look at me with exasperated look and told me that after all the trouble they have to go through to enter a car license number tender, i better stick with it.

Urrgghh..once again what have i gotten myself into?? i am afraid that my uncles and aunties will tell my parent that they are spoiling me too much...and deep inside their hearts, my parent know it but then my sister and i are their only offspring...i mean im not encouraging that all parent should spoil their children until they became brats but spoil them just enough to make them feel all their works are appreciated. well i only hope that good things will come from buying this car or else im going to be burden with a lot more guilt than i could handle..:(

i fear for my family and me...

at 3.00 am today..my house security system suddenly went off on its own..i thought it was my parent accidently touch the sensitive area which detects even a minor vibration...however when i went out of my room to check it out...i found out that my parent were sound asleep...and then i remember all the breakins stories in the news paper...and those that happened in my neighbourhood...and i fear for my family and myself...is it not so disturbing to the authorities to hear breakins and murder due to that?? or are they too caught up with political games??..i dread the day when if we were force to a breaking point with personal safety..that a law on owning a gun is passed in this country...when that happens...all hell will break loose...just like in the US..children as young as 10 years old know how to use a gun...lets pray that does not happened..and lets hope we find a solution for this problem soon before its too late...

one paper to go....

well its been a tough 2 weeks...trying to memorize investment law..and when the paper was over..move on to the hard to understand bond.....it amazing what the human mind can do...for the bond paper(which i prefer to call it because the real name is long), i sat on the study table from 8 pm until 1 am....and when i leave the study table..i could not walk properly because my legs were numb...anyway the final was ok(i think..hehehe)...anyway after the bond paper..i went back to kl with my friend..azni..right now..its the final battle to finish my last diploma paper..portfolio management...i hope i can get through with the best result...to all my friends..wish u guys the best of luck for this paper..

ATTENTION!!!THE CHANGING OF THE BLOG NAME!!!!

well u guys it seems that its been a while since i post anything on my blog. Currently i am preparing for my final which will end in on the 5th of May 2009....after that date, it will mark the end of 3 years of struggling, learning and hardship...of friendship and enemies, of truth and lies and ultimately..the preparation for the unknown future...well wish me and my friends all the best for the coming future...oh i forgot..it been so long since i post anything that i have a lot to say which has derailed me from what i wanted to tell all of you readers out there.. i am of this moment will change the blog name to FARISABD.BLOGSPOT.COM..this is to ensure the smoothness of remembering the blog's name and also to elevate my brand which my name..wahahaha...anyway i hope you guys tune for more new post that has yet to come..thanks and see ya soon....

ps: it is not at this moment i am going to change the name...but maybe i am going to leave it be for a few days until it has seeps into the mind of the readers...so that they wont panic when they type the old blog name and nothing appeared...and it will stop me from wondering why is there no one visiting my blog anymore..
